Since its 1986-87 inaugural season, the LA Opera has emerged as one of the largest opera companies in the United States. In addition to staging world-class performances at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the LA Opera is deeply committed to community engagement and educational programming aimed at increasing accessibility and interest in this genre of classical music.
