UCSF Foundation

Unlike its fellow University of California campuses, the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) does not offer admission to undergraduate students. Instead, this specialized and acclaimed university has become a sought-after campus for students pursuing one of its 11 master's programs or 19 PhD programs. UCSF has four professional schools in nursing, medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy, and the UCSF Medical Center operates three clinical sites in Northern California at Parnassus, Mount Zion, and Mission Bay. The University is also the second-largest employer in the San Francisco area, with 3,000 faculty members and 22,000 on staff. UCSF's leadership in academic programs, research, and medicine are guided by a dedication to time-sensitive and efficient innovation. UCSF encourages its students, researchers, and doctors to approach the surrounding community with a passion to discover and innovate, while fostering compassion for the individuals they serve.
