Chicago Architecture Center

Founded in 1966 as the Chicago Architecture Foundation, the Chicago Architecture Center (CAC) initially endeavored to save the Richardsonian Romanesque mansion Glessner House. It has since grown in size and scope while promoting the wonders and impact of the city's architecture. The organization also provides access and introductions to an abundance of architectural and engineering treasures around the city by offering year-round programs, tours, exhibits, and events for the whole family. Its mission is to encourage these visitors to fully discover and appreciate the urban design that surrounds them.
