Paris College of Art

The Paris College of Art has experienced a complex, winding history since it was founded as Parsons Paris in 1981. In the decades since, the school's name has changed from Parsons Paris, to École Parsons à Paris, to L'Association Franco-Américaine de Design, to, in 2010, the Paris College of Art. In 2014, the Paris College of Art and Parsons School of Design at The New School formally split into two separate educational institutions.

Today, Paris College of Art (PCA) offers BFA, MA, and MFA degrees in more than a dozen art and design disciplines, including fine arts, interior design, photography, design for social impact, and fashion design. At the core of the College's curriculum is a commitment to international educational standards and a multi-national student body. Though the majority of PCA's students hail from European nations or the United States, its community includes individuals from across the globe. In addition, the College prioritizes highly personalized educational tracts; the average class size is 12 students, and student to faculty ratio is 2.4 to 1. PCA partners with some of Paris's most prominent cultural institutions, including The American Library in Paris and the Bibliothèque des Arts Décoratifs, to offer students the hands-on experience necessary to round out their academic experience.
