Manhattan Theater Club

In 1970, the Manhattan Theatre Club (MTC) began producing off-off-Broadway shows. Through the years, it has evolved to become one of Broadway's most highly regarded theatres. Under its current leadership, the MTC is committed to the creation of new plays and musicals through an intensive Artistic Development Program. MTC's many awards include, 19 Tony Awards, six Pulitzer Prizes, 48 Obies and 32 Drama Desk awards. The MTC also has an Education Program that strives to enrich the lives of students by offering workshops that enliven the theatre-going experience.
