Spring Singers into Operatic Careers

Opera Fuoco

Opera Fuoco was founded in 2003 by the esteemed American conductor David Stern. Although Opera Fuoco's company primarily performs in Paris, it has recently expanded its international activities to include performances in Sweden and China. The company's expansive repertoire spans history, place of origin, and genres. Opera Fuoco is also internationally recognized for its Young Artists Program, which was established in 2008. The Young Artists Program is designed for young singers from countries across the globe who are in the process of completing their conservatory studies and entering professional life. It offers singers a multi-year, all-encompassing experience that includes training and performing with Opera Fuoco, and is one of the most coveted programs of its kind in France. Alumni of the program have gone on to perform at Carnegie Hall and join the ranks of ensembles such as the New York Metropolitan Opera and Paris Opera.
