Championing a Relationship Between Cultural Giants

French-American Cultural Foundation

The French-American Cultural Foundation's work is rooted in the belief that France and the United States share a rich history and enduring values of independence, creativity, and excellence, constituting the basis of a special relationship. The foundation celebrates and promotes these cultural and commercial bonds through partnerships with powerhouse institutions in both countries, including the Embassy of France, the Palace of Versailles, the National Gallery of Art, and the Library of Congress. This history of partnerships has given rise to many initiatives and events across the visual and performing arts, history, education, and sciences.

Additionally, the organization engages in fundraising and organizing to support the preservation, restoration, and exhibition of shared French and American historical artifacts and monuments, to further encourage public understanding of the countries' intersecting pasts. Through this multifaceted approach, the foundation honors the past, celebrates the present, and builds for the future of French-American partnerships across all sectors of society.
