The Prince's Foundation was formally established in 2018 through the merging of The Prince's Foundation for Building Community, The Prince's Regeneration Trust, The Great Steward of Scotland's Dumfries House Trust, and The Prince's School of Traditional Arts. Today, The Prince's Foundation fulfills its mission of building harmonious communities through three core tiers of work. First, the Foundation offers more than 30 educational programs across broad-ranging thematic areas to learners of all ages, including the arts, architecture and design, science, engineering, hospitality, horticulture, and more. The Foundation's second pillar of work, "practice," works with global communities and partners to foster sustainable building practices and everyday habits. Third, the "places" pillar invites visitors to experience renovated historic locations and newly created spaces, including Dumfries House, Rothesay Rooms, Castle and Gardens of Mey, Tamar Manoukian New Cumnock Pool, and Carriage at Ballater. Through this multi-tiered approach, the Prince's Foundation embodies The Prince of Wales's visionary spirit and approach to building harmonious communities for all residents of the UK and beyond.
