United Nations Association of the United States of America

The United Nations Association of the United States (UNA-USA) was established in 1943 by a group of American citizens who were committed to forming an organization to help bring the World War II globe into a more peaceful era. UNA-USA was centrally involved in the creation of the UN Charter and its Congressional ratification in 1945. Today, UNA-USA is comprised of more than 20,000 members spanning 200 chapters across the nation. This group of passionate Americans champions the principals of the UN and advances efforts to meet the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. In particular, UNA-USA's programs champion support for refugees, human rights, and climate action. UNA-USA is an official subsidiary of the United Nations Foundation and a partner of the Better World Campaign.
