Jewish Arts Collaborative

The Jewish Arts Collaborative (JArts) is dedicated to preserving the long history of Jewish art and culture in the Greater Boston area.

Creating Community Through Collaboration

Jewish Arts Collaborative

In 2015, a partnership between the Boston Jewish Music Festival and the New Center for Arts and Culture led to the creation of the Jewish Arts Collaborative. The Jewish Arts Collaborative works to elevate the voices and traditions of Jewish artists through dynamic programming in institutions across the Greater Boston region. In 2019, JArts offered 21 programs, which were attended by over 7,500 participants. In addition to serving as an incubator for Jewish artistry and culture, JArts also supports, advises, and advocates on behalf of artists who participate in its programming. Through this work, JArts works to build a stronger, more inclusive Jewish identity and community in Boston.
