World of Children

World of Children is the only global recognition and funding program that focuses on organizations who address issues facing vulnerable youth. The organization honors leaders who have worked for a minimum of 10 years in one of six key areas: sexual and physical abuse, cancer and live-saving medical care, homelessness and hunger, education, disabilities, and bullying. World of Children offers financial awards in five categories: education, health, humanitarian, youth, and protection. Upon nomination, each potential honoree is vetted by an independent global security firm in order to ensure the quality and impact of their work. Since its founding in 1998, World of Children has recognized and honored leaders from more than 60 countries across the globe, and its awards have been called "the Nobel Prize for child advocacy."
