Directing Donations with Purpose

Community Foundation of Acadiana

Community Foundation of Acadiana (CFA) is a donor-centric community foundation dedicated to bridging the gap between donors from around the globe and causes in south Louisiana communities. CFA operates in eight parishes: Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermillion. Since its inception in 2000, the community foundation has allocated over $230 million in grants and has been recognized twice as one of the Top 100 Community Foundations in the United States. CFA operates a number of established funds dedicated to supporting various causes, ranging from disaster relief to scholarships to social justice.

In 2019, following the horrific fires that were acts of arson at three churches within the St. Landry community, CFA sprang into action, acting as a depository and community organizer for the funds that will help rebuild the churches and communities.
