Bolstering Binational Collaboration in Border Communities

U.S.-Mexico Border Philanthropy Partnership

The U.S.-Mexico Border Philanthropy Partnership (BPP) was established in 2008 to address critical issues along and across the border. Operating predominantly in the U.S. border states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas as well as the Mexico border states of Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, and Tamaulipas, BPP is the only nonprofit organization that specifically promotes philanthropy across this region. The organization supports a network of community-based groups already working in these border communities to address complex issues surrounding equity, prosperity, and opportunity. BPP promotes collaborative leadership between these organizations — as well as impactful philanthropy — in pursuit of its vision for a transnational region of thriving, civically engaged communities.
