Millennium Campus Network
The Millennium Campus Network trains students on university campuses across the globe to be the next generation of civically engaged leaders.
Rise Education Fund's signature program, the paid Student Organizing Fellowship, recruits, hires, and trains low-income community college and university students to become advocates and organizers on their college campuses. The organization's campaigns focus on college tuition and fees, financial aid, student hunger, food insecurity, and student homelessness. In addition, the Rise Education Fund network partners with Rise, Inc. to educate college students on the importance of voter registration and student-led campaigns that directly affect the issues related to their attendance at college. Rise Education Fund envisions a world where the cost of attending college no longer inhibits students from achieving their full academic potential or forces students to pay tuition at the expense of food and housing.
In the wake of 2020's COVID-19 pandemic and resulting economic crisis, Rise Education Fund launched emergency relief programs for vulnerable college students across the nation. The organization's one-on-one case management program assisted students in navigating complex public benefit systems, emergency financial aid sources, and other local resources.
