NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale

Founded in 1958 and part of Nova Southeastern University since 2008, NSU Art Museum offers exhibitions and programs containing visual art from civilizations throughout history. Its permanent holdings of more than 7,500 works is recognized for its contemporary collection, which emphasizes women, Latinx and Black artists, and African art. The museum is home to two scholarly research centers designed to complement the permanent collection: the Pearl and Stanley Goodman Latin American Art Study Center and the William J. Glackens Study Center. In addition, the NSU Art Museum hosts an array of events and educational programs that welcome diverse audiences to the museum and expose them to the wondrous power of the visual arts.
