Celebrating Contemporary Art Creation

Festival d'Automne à Paris

The Festival d'Automne à Paris was established in 1972 to promote the work of contemporary artists from across the world. Each September through December, the festival hosts its events at major cultural institutions throughout Paris and on the island of Île-de-France — including the Centre Pompidou and the Philharmonie de Paris — to present nearly 50 events and entertain 250,000 visitors. Further, the festival offers strategically diverse programming, consistently featuring performing arts pieces from countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and South America. Through this multi-disciplinary and international approach, the Festival d'Automne à Paris brings people together through the inspirational power of the contemporary arts.
