UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music
UCLA's newly established Herb Alpert School of Music offers students an interdisciplinary and in-depth musical education.
The UCLA Burkle Center for International Relations was created in 1979 to generate knowledge and shape public debate about important international relations issues. Today, the Center attracts the world's top experts in the fields of international relations, American foreign policy, and global cooperation and conflict. These experts work in tandem with UCLA faculty and students to host conferences and events, conduct research, and create podcasts and videos to raise public awareness.
The Burkle Center is particularly committed to generating resources for UCLA students in these fields; it funds courses, sponsors a renowned and competitive internship program, and administers fellowships and scholarships. Additionally, the Center hosts esteemed Senior Fellows and runs the Burkle Global Impact Initiative, which activates the entertainment industry to engage more extensively with current advocacy, humanitarian, and policy issues. Through this expansive programming, the UCLA Burkle Center has emerged as a national leader in discourse and discovery of international relations issues.
