Since its establishment at Brown University in 2013, the School of Public Health has championed new opportunities to innovate and transform public health education and research. The graduate school produces world-class public health scholarship to benefit historically underserved communities and vulnerable populations, focusing on service and community engagement in Providence and beyond. The school aspires to the highest levels of academic research to advance well-being for all, including research and outreach in key areas such as Alzheimer's disease, opioid addiction, veterans' health, and mental health. The institution endeavors to produce the next generation of thoughtful, diverse public health leaders and to improve health as a human right for all.
