Founded in 1974 by a small group of feminists and clinicians, Westside Family Health Center (WFHC) has adhered to its mission to provide comprehensive, high-quality, cost-effective health care in an educational and supportive environment that empowers patients to take an assertive role in caring for their well-being through all stages of life. After 46 years in Santa Monica, WFHC relocated to a state-of-the-art flagship site in Culver City that finally matches its deep commitment to the holistic patient experience and social justice through health equity.
As a safety net provider, this nonprofit health group addresses the health needs of anyone who walks through the doors – regardless of their ability to pay – by providing high-quality care on a sliding pay scale. The clinic prides itself on the values of integrity, teamwork, quality of care, compassion, responsibility, and community. Westside Family Health Center offers a wide variety of personal and holistic services to increase the overall well-being of the communities they serve through culturally competent and linguistically appropriate care.
