YourMomCares

The Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization was established by several mothers of celebrities to fund innovative and impactful solutions for children across the globe who are facing mental-health challenges.

Advocating for the Mental Wellness of Children

YourMomCares

In 2014, YourMomCares co-founders and longtime friends Patsy Noah (mother of Adam Levine), Sharon Feldstein (Jonah Hill and Beanie Feldstein), and Terria Joseph (Alicia Keys) joined other mothers at the White House to film a PSA for the Affordable Care Act. The event inspired Noah, Feldstein, and Joseph to envision a greater purpose for the "Your Mom Cares" concept, and the trio were granted permission from the White House to take ownership of the brand and establish the nonprofit brand YourMomCares, also known as #YMC.

Over the last decade, YourMomCares has partnered with various nonprofit organizations to focus attention on mental health wellness and provide children in the U.S. and abroad with access to appropriate medical care and resources. Whether it's piloting innovative approaches to address behavioral health through online tools, partnering with established nonprofit organizations to provide sufficient health resources and social services for children, or developing its own initiatives and campaigns to prioritize and highlight mental-health issues, YourMomCares is committed to ensuring that all children receive appropriate mental-health services — regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or economic circumstances.
