Rescuing Leftover Cuisine Opens New Branch in Los Angeles

For 10 years, this surplus food rescue organization has redistributed excess food by matching donors to nonprofits that are feeding individuals in need.

Rescuing Leftover Cuisine (RLC) has created a healthy footprint across the Eastern, Midwestern and Southern states, with food-operation branches in Atlanta, Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, and Rhode Island. Now RLC is set to increase its impact and step up its rescue efforts on the West Coast by opening a Los Angeles branch. Through continued collaboration with several food-donor partners in Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties, RLC will launch its initial West Coast operations in September, strengthening its commitment to make food rescue a universal practice.

GRoW is honored to support the opening of RLC's L.A. branch as well as its general operations.
