Boston Symphony Orchestra Warms Up for Thrilling Tanglewood Season

The 85th season in the bucolic Berkshires runs from June 22 through Labor Day and showcases underrepresented voices in classical music.

The Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) brings world-class music to Tanglewood once again this summer, offering fans of classical and beyond an impressive roster of performances, including 48 artists making their Tanglewood or BSO debuts as well as works by 28 living composers.

This season at Tanglewood — which is located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts — will spotlight brilliant and underrepresented voices in music, literal and figurative. Soprano Julia Bullock and violinist Hilary Hahn will perform Iman Habibi's Zhian and Jessie Montgomery's Freedom Songs, while Giancarlo Guerrero conducts the Lorelei Ensemble as they present Julia Wolfe's Her Story and Mahler's Symphony No. 1.

GRoW is honored to be a sponsor of the 2023 Tanglewood season and to support the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
