We Care Outreach Ministries Keeps the Dream Alive

Michael Cummings, founder of We Care Outreach Ministries, recently hosted a group of fifth graders from Florence Griffith Joyner Elementary School in Watts for this full day program meant to orient them in the next steps for their education. They first visited the local middle school and high school, where they met with leaders and with administrators.

Following those visits, they toured the UCLA campus, where they learned about UCLA's campus itself, as well as widespread opportunities in higher education. Over the course of this inspirational program, students were exposed to the steps required to fulfill their dreams to pursue higher education.
