V&A presents Frida Kahlo: Making Herself Up

Frida Kahlo: Making Herself Up pays tribute to one of the world's most recognizable artists — known for her captivating self-portraits and use of striking colors — by showcasing items from her wardrobe, personal accessories, make-up, and paintings of her own clothing. This collection was locked away for decades after her death in 1954 and is now making its debut outside of her homeland for the first time.
