SAMO Youth Mentor Program Celebrates Summer in the Parks

At the graduation, high school students will celebrate the end of their summer work at the Santa Monica Mountains, where they completed a hands-on, educational, and eye-opening mentorship program. Throughout the course of the program, students learn about the National Park Service's mission, values, and operations. The program employs students for two consecutive summers, which provides a direct connection to potential future internships and jobs.
