Every Saturday between December and May, the Met brings you live performances from the stage of the historic opera house, with commentary before the show and during intermission.

Saturday Matinee Radio Broadcasts is the longest-running continuous classical music program in American radio history and has shared more than 1,800 performances with millions of people across the globe since it began in 1931. The series increases access to opera for audiences of all backgrounds and serves as an introduction to the art form for new listeners.
