We Care Outreach Ministries Prepares for Safe and Successful School Year

The Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization is preparing programming such as Safe Passages, which ensures that students are able to travel safely to and from school. 

Every day before and after school, Safe Passages volunteers line streets in Watts, helping to increase safety in the community and support its students and children. Founded by Elder Michael Cummings (aka Big Mike), We Care Outreach also aims to reduce gang-related violence and secure brighter futures for its residents.
