Nipsey Hussle Honored at 43rd Annual Simon Rodia Watts Towers Jazz Festival

On Sunday, September 29, the Watts community celebrated the 43rd Annual Simon Rodia Watts Towers Jazz Festival. This year, the Festival honored the late Nipsey Hussle, a former student of the Watts Towers Art Center and beloved community activist. 

The day's events, which began at 10:00 am and lasted until 6:00 pm, featured live performances by artists personally connected to the Watts community, art galleries, a food court, and children's workshops. This Jazz Festival is the only free event of its kind in Los Angeles.
