GRoW is Committed to Providing Responsive Support During Pandemic

We are engaged in a multifaceted, strategic response to the international crisis spurred by the spread of COVID-19.

GRoW has committed to support health care organizations such as Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, and Clínica Monseñor Oscar A. Romero, all of which work tirelessly to provide high-quality care for its patients and support for its front-line workers. GRoW founder Gregory Annenberg Weingarten has also joined his fellow Annenberg Foundation trustees in supporting Brilliant Corners, a nonprofit organization working to prevent and respond to the spread of the virus among individuals experiencing homelessness.

Beyond our contributions to health service providers, we are working closely with our grantee-partners to ensure nonprofit sustainability and provide flexibility in the face of widespread event cancellations and evolving policies. Further, Gregory and the GRoW team are reviewing our annual contributions, and remain in conversation with grantee-partners on a case-by-case basis to ascertain the ways in which we can offer timely support for their general operations.
