Supporting Efforts to Ensure a Fair and Accurate 2020 Census Count

With the 2020 Census underway, GRoW @ Annenberg is providing grant support to Fair Count, a Georgia-based organization founded to ensure that this year's census count is accurate and representative of all communities. Fair Count connects with local organizations and faith leaders in hard-to-count communities in order to spread awareness of the 2020 Census' critical role.

It is important to note the results of the data from the Census are used in many ways, including the allocation of billions of dollars of funding throughout the U.S. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Census faces unprecedented challenges, leading the government to extend its deadline several months.
