The American Library in Paris Celebrates its Centennial

On October 8, The American Library in Paris (ALP) hosted its Century Gala celebrating 100 years of service in Paris. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the hybrid event consisted of both live and virtual programming, including a keynote address from acclaimed author Susan Orlean.

Established in 1920 following World War I, ALP has long since stood as a symbol of cultural exchange, French and American friendship, and the transformative power of literature to change hearts and minds. GRoW is honored to support the Library for more than 25 years and to support this historic centennial celebration.
