Hispanic Society Museum and Library Hosts In the Heights Exhibition

Running from June 9 to August 15, the exhibition will feature more than 50 photographic images that track the evolution of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Tony-winning musical from its first iteration at Wesleyan College to Broadway success.

Free to the public, In the Heights: From College to the Screen is one of the featured events for the Annual Art Stroll in Northern Manhattan. The exhibition was produced by the Hispanic Society Museum & Library and the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance (NoMAA), an arts service nonprofit that promotes, cultivates, and supports the works of artists and organizations that are part of northern Manhattan's rich cultural community.

In the Heights: From College to the Screen opens in conjunction with the June 10 release of the film adaptation of In the Heights. The acclaimed musical, which debuted on Broadway in 2008, chronicles three eventful days in the Manhattan community of Washington Heights.
