"International Jazz Day is the world's largest celebration of jazz as a force for peace, intercultural dialogue, and international cooperation. Each year on April 30, people from over 190 countries worldwide come together to recognize jazz for promoting respect for human rights and human dignity, eradicating discrimination, bolstering freedom of expression, fostering gender equality, and reinforcing the role of youth in enacting social change," according to the IJD website.
GRoW will again support this important day with its mission to employ the arts as an important tool for peace and dialogue.
