UCLA Burkle Center for International Relations Hosts Daniel Pearl Memorial Lecture

On March 31, the lecture series will return to honor the memory of the prominent journalist who dedicated his life to bringing truth, joy, and understanding to the world. This year's featured guest is French philosopher and author Bernard-Henri Lévy, who was chosen by Daniel Pearl's father, Judea, in collaboration with UCLA's Burkle Center.

The Daniel Pearl Memorial Lecture Series is free and open to the public. The Burkle Center, which holds conferences and lectures that feature prominent names in politics and culture, has pivoted to virtual lectures during the pandemic, providing people around the world with access to conversations that can spark new discussions and ideologies. The series' most recent lecture, hosted in February 2021, is available to watch on the Center's website.
