Paris Opera Ballet and Los Angeles Philharmonic Unite for First Time at the Hollywood Bowl

For two nights this summer, Gustavo Dudamel, who was appointed Music Director of Paris Opera in 2021 and is celebrating his fourteenth year as Music & Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, will unite two of the world's leading arts institutions - the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Paris Opera Ballet - for two spectacular evenings of dance, as could only be realized at the Hollywood Bowl.

LA Phil will commemorate the Hollywood Bowl's centennial year with this historic collaboration between the LA Phil and the Paris Opera Ballet. With Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic setting the scene, 30 dancers from the Paris Opera Ballet, including the world-renowned "Etoiles" of the company, will make their Bowl debuts in an evening of highlights from extraordinary ballets from the core classical canon. World renowned pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet will be the guest pianist for the program. GRoW @ Annenberg is thrilled to support this once-in-a-lifetime program.
