Watts Towers Arts Center Campus Presents I Wanted To Do Something Big

For the first time since the pandemic began, the Watts Towers Arts Center Campus reopened its doors on November 13 to host a reception for a new retrospective conservation exhibition.

Curated by Mark Gilberg, Rosie Lee Hooks, and Rebecca Guerrero, the exhibition I Wanted to Do Something Big presents a retrospective on the conservation of the Watts Towers, sharing an overview of the building and the current and past efforts to conserve and preserve Simon Rodia's renowned architectural sculpture. The Towers serve as a monument to creativity, perseverance, and are a source of pride for the community. GRoW is honored to serve as a sponsor of this exhibition.
