Directing Donations with Purpose

Community Foundation of Acadiana

Community Foundation of Acadiana (CFA) is a donor-centric community foundation dedicated to bridging the gap between donors from around the globe and causes in south Louisiana communities. CFA operates in eight parishes: Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermillion. Since its inception in 2000, the foundation has allocated more than $230 million in grants and has been recognized twice as one of the Top 100 Community Foundations in the United States. CFA operates a number of established funds that provide scholarships and support such causes as disaster relief and social justice.

In 2019, following acts of arson at three churches within the St. Landry community, CFA acted as a depository and community organizer for the funds that helped to rebuild the churches and communities.
