A Philanthropic Initiative Supporting Opportunity, Justice, and Leadership Around the World
The winning entry was featured on the cover of the Rigoletto program and displayed at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, home of the LA Opera. In addition, the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) became the first secondary educational institution in Los Angeles County to have its stduents participate in the contest. All entrants received tickets to the performance, and winners were invited to attend opening night as well as the cast supper after the show.
The artwork pictured above was created by first-place winner Benjamin Macias. The contest is part of GRoW's ongoing support of LA Opera.
