We Care Outreach Ministries Keeps the Dream Alive this Spring

This spring, Elder Michael Cummings led 70 fifth graders from an elementary school in Watts through a full-day program called Keeper of the Dream. The group of students spent an entire day visiting middle and high schools in their community.  

The students then traveled to UCLA for an afternoon of programming, including a tour of the campus and the dorms, as well as a meal in a dining hall alongside college students. Over the course of this exciting day, students were inspired to pursue the many educational opportunities that await them.
