These nine GRoW-sponsored organizations - Loving Hands Community Care, East Side Riders Bike Club, A New Way of Life Reentry Project, Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Los Angeles, CASA of Los Angeles, Homeboy Industries, Kedren Health, Sisters of Watts, and Urban Peace Institute- are among 56 Los Angeles-based changemakers selected to receive the award. In anticipation of the Super Bowl's return to Los Angeles in 2022, the LA84 Foundation, Play Equity Fund, and National Football League's "Champions Live Here" program honors "unsung heroes" – grassroots organizations and leaders doing transformative work in underserved communities. These 56 Champion Organizations will receive funding, marketing resources, capacity-building training, and public recognition leading up to Super Bowl LVI.
