Les Talens Lyriques Celebrates 30th Season with Performances at La Scala in Milan

This fall, France's internationally renowned musical ensemble that performs some of Europe's rarest and most historically important pieces from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries will help to stage Francesco Cavalli's mythical opera, La Calisto.

La Calisto follows the journey of a nymph renowned for her beauty. This production is unique as "few Baroque concerts have been stages with period instruments," said conductor and Les Talens Lyriques founder/harpsichordist Christophe Rousset. After a challenging year for the arts in the pandemic, GRoW is honored to continue its support of Les Talens Lyriques as the ensemble embarks on its 30th annual season with a full series of productions and international projects.
