Kara Walker is best known for her candid investigation of race, gender, sexuality, and violence using historical images and forms.

For the 2018 Walter Annenberg Lecture, Walker speaks about her practice and how art can address the ongoing legacy of slavery in contemporary American life. She will be joined in conversation by Adam D. Weinberg, the Museum's Alice Pratt Brown Director. Tickets are required.
