Kicking off with Aucoin's Eurydice on December 4, 2021 and running through June 11, 2022, the Met Matinee Broadcasts are available every Saturday at 1 PM Eastern Time. Featuring everyone from Mozart to Tchaikovsky, the Saturday Matinee Broadcasts are a long-standing tradition for the Met Opera. Beginning in 1931, the Saturday Matinees "are the longest-running continuous classical music program in American radio history." More than 200 different operas have been broadcast over the last nine decades. While some broadcasts are recordings, many are new network premiers of operas. The broadcasts allow opera to be accessible for all to enjoy across the globe. You can find a full schedule of the broadcasts, as well as a station finder, on the Met Opera website. Presenting dozens of performances from the world's most illustrious opera companies, this is a tradition you don't want to miss!
